With pending growth legislation threatening land development in Colorado, Castle Rock Development turned to Vision Land Consultants, Inc. to protect their development rights. Our knowledge of civil engineering, land development, and the submittal process will enable our client to develop this 90-acre site into 253 residential lots. Working in close association with land planners, attorneys, and sub-consultants, we were able to submit the required information (preliminary plat, preliminary grading, utility plans, and preliminary drainage study) to the necessary jurisdictions and preserve our client’s right to develop their property. In addition, our ability to understand and design the grading plan around the difficult terrain of this site will result in lower construction costs by the elimination of a sanitary sewer lift station and the balancing of the earthwork volumes.
