Vision Land has provided the civil site design for three of the largest mixed-use facilities in Colorado: Stapleton Redevelopment; Cornerstar; and one of the largest LEED-certified residential towers in the Country and the #1 Top Colorado Mixed-Use project in 2009, The Spire. Stapleton is the largest in-fill project in the Country, and as part of both the design and program management team, Vision Land was responsible for designing $330 million of infrastructure, constructed over a period of 4 ½ years. The 2400 acre redevelopment (formerly Denver Airport) has won notable awards for sustainability. Vision Land was instrumental in developing materials for use during construction, using the recycled concrete runways. The design includes use of aggregate base course, gravity retaining walls, bedding material, soil stabilization and propane hydraulic fore bays. The project is on-going and has over 30 mixed-use /residential filings. Vision Land took great design prowess to make sure each filing fit with the next as not to duplicate or disrupt active infrastructure.
