The Denver Union Station (DUS) Master Plan is being redeveloped to preserve Denver’s historic Union Station and the surrounding 19 acres of land. DUS will be transformed into a $480 million transportation hub serving the needs of downtown Denver residents, tourists and commuters.


DUS will be multimodal transportation hub and gateway to downtown Denver and the region and will be a 24 hour hub of urban activity. DUS will serve millions of people through modes such as RTD light rail, RTD regional and local buses, commuter and regional rails; Amtrak, Ski Train, charter and tour buses, taxi and limo services, rental cars, bicycles, private automobiles, walking on site and to nearby neighborhoods. The site’s potential mixed-use redevelopment could include office space, residences, retail, restaurants, entertainment venues, and hotel.

Vision Land Consultants is providing civil engineering services for the area directly adjacent to the existing Denver Union Station. Vision Land will coordinate with adjacent property development such as the plaza and emergency vehicle lanes that surround the station. Vision Land will provide an overall due diligence site plan which will show property lines and easements as they affect the different ownerships and interest in the Denver Union Station including coordination with RTD. Vision Land will also be responsible for the schematic design to include preliminary utility plans (water, fire supply lines, sanitary sewer and storm sewer), preliminary grading plans, erosion control; design development phase will include a site plan, grading plan, utility plan, sanitary sewer study including technical memo, water tap coordination; final construction documents to include sanitary sewer connections; storm sewer plans, Denver Water plan submittal, final grading plan with finished floor elevations, construction document specifications review and coordination with City and County of Denver, RTD, Denver Water, Denver Fire, Denver Wastewater, client, and Denver Union Station ownerships and interest parties.
