Set in the heart of historic
downtown Denver, overlooking Cherry Creek
and the Pepsi Center, this 160-unit loft
project sits on 0.7 acres and is an urban
revitalization project. Designing a site
that would accommodate a 362,451 square
foot building with 13 stories and 3 underground
parking levels involved many civil engineering
challenges. A zero lot line setback around
the entire building complicated access and
utility design. Proximity to Cherry Creek
resulted in design accommodations for a
foundation dewatering system. Improvements
to existing roadway and utility systems
had to be designed. Our engineering experience
with LoDo projects enabled our client to
benefit from the plan approval process and
reduced construction costs.
